Transport: Bus routes in Berchtesgaden
All the buses will depart from Berchtesgaden Hbf. The departure time for all buses are same.  All the attractions can reach by bus.

Attractions in Berchtesgaden
The most famous attraction is Konigssee lake. Konigssee lake is a preserve land in Bavaria since 1834. Now, it is the cleanest lake in Germany. The lake is not allowed any private boat, fishing, windsurfing or camping at the lake. Konigssee lake is a narrow, fjord-like lake. The maximum depth of the lake is 192 meters, 8 km long and up to 1.2 km wide.

The type of attractions in Berchtesgaden can be divided into three types: Nature (Konigssee lake, Eagle nest), Salt and history (Adventure Mine, The old salt work) and Town ( The Spa town of Bad Reichenhall). I only visit two places ( Konigssee lake and Ramsau Parish Church) because I arrived Berchtesgaden nearly 1 pm. I only have 5 hours at here. I will recommended to overnight a night at here. The scenery is really impressive.

Information about the bus routes for all the attractions was displayed on the notice board at the bus station. The best thing is the information has Mandarin version. I really excited with this.

Berchtesgaden town

From Berchtesgaden bus station, we took bus RVO 841 to Konigssee.
The jetty is around 5 to 10 minutes walking distance from the bus stop  " Konigssee).
During peak season ( before 25th October, the ferry has two stops: St Bartholoma and Salet) but it will leave two stops ( St Bartholoma ) during winter season ( October to April). Our ticket from Konigssee to St Bartholoma with return was 14.50 euros per person.
Salet has a smaller lake, Obersee and can enjoy gorgeous view of the mountains reflected in the mirror-like surface and the tall Rothbach waterfall.

St. Bartholomew's church
It is a Roman Catholic pilgrimage church in the Berchtesgadener land.
The first chapel was built in 1134 and in 1679, it was rebuilt in a Baroque style with two onion domes and a red domed roof.

We spend around  2  hours at Konigssee area ( not including the bus journey). It took 35 minutes for a ride from Konigssee to St Bartholoma. It is estimated need to spend half-day if Salet also including in your visiting list. After that, we went to Pfarrkirche St Sebastian which is located at Ramsau. After that, we took the last bus to Salzburg. It is just one hour bus journey to reach Salzburg center station. The bus is free for passenger with Bayern ticket.
